Anne Smith, CEO and Founder
As HealthWise Data’s founder, Anne is the architect behind providing best-in-class data products, analytics, and consultative services, helping healthcare organizations to better understand the “patient as a person” and drive better outcomes. Her passion for solving the unique problems in the healthcare industry results in innovative, relevant, and better performing products and services for HealthWise Data’s partners.
With over 30 years in consumer data and analytics, Anne has achieved tremendous success as a strategic thinker, collaborator, and business expansion leader. She has demonstrated exceptional leadership in guiding the HealthWise Data team to develop forward-thinking strategies that have elevated the company’s comprehensive data product offerings.
Anne’s passion for data and analytics is contagious, inspiring everyone around her to think outside the box and embrace new challenges. Under her guidance, the team has delivered groundbreaking data products and services that have been successfully embraced by leading healthcare brands.

Todd Gibson, Chief Operating Officer
Todd brings 30+ years of operations, business development, and entrepreneurial experience to HealthWise Data. A continuous theme of his career has been identifying specialized sources of information and applying them to address marketing opportunities.
Todd has held executive-level positions with Rockwell International, Borg-Warner, and infoGroup. During the course of his career, he has advised most of the Fortune 500, representing a broad range of industries including banking, insurance, publishing, utilities, healthcare, business services, manufacturing, telecommunications, and government. As an entrepreneur, Todd has served as an officer or board member to eight companies, four of which he co-founded.
Todd attended Baylor University, where he earned a B.S. (Biology major, Math minor) and an MBA (Marketing) and taught statistics. In addition to enjoying cooking and wine, Todd is an avid scuba diver – he holds 25 certifications in various specialties and has logged hundreds of dives in 13 states and 9 countries. Rob Thibault, Chief Technology Officer
Rob has over 4 decades of experience in IT management, development and consulting, 15 years in a supervisory/management capacity. He has extensive experience developing and consulting on information access and information management tools, techniques, and applications. Rob has held various positions as VP Engineering, Director of Technology and Applications Development for large DoD integrators including Northrop Grumman. He has also been President and CEO/CTO of a software development company in San Diego that created a nation-wide asset tracking system for Amtrak.
Recently, Rob has been the CTO for Modern Analytics Corporation, a company specializing in big data predictive analytics using web and cloud-based technologies including AWS and Azure. Rob has been responsible for the concept, architecture, design and much of the development of the company’s flagship product Model Factory. Model Factory is a web-based suite of tools to transform data into predictive analytics models for any industry.
Rob is excited to join the HealthWise Data team as their CTO. While at Modern Analytics, Rob was introduced to Anne and the team at HealthWise Data, where he helped develop predictive models on health conditions, health equity, food insecurity, access to transportation and other key predictive scores for R&D and marketing clients. Liza Martin, SVP Growth
Liza focuses on building innovative client acquisition and retention strategies at HealthWise Data. She is also the primary liaison for existing partners and clients, ensuring they are equipped with what they need to drive impact with our data. Her background in luxury hospitality and customer success enables HealthWise Data to stand out in the healthcare data industry by providing thoughtful, customer-driven service and bespoke solutions for each individual client depending on their needs.
Prior to joining HealthWise Data in 2020, Liza worked at Marriott International where she led the marketing strategy for a portfolio of 11 luxury hotels in Southern California, including The Ritz-Carlton, EDITION, JW Marriott and W Hotel brands. She received her Bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality Management from Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland. She was a member of the pre-opening team for The Knickerbocker Hotel in New York City, where she held marketing, project management and client relations positions.
Katie Panzica, Senior Director of Customer Care
Katie’s career started in marketing for a process automation company, and from there spanned across sales, product marketing and account management. For the past six years, her focus has been within the healthcare payer space, assisting with marketing and sales efforts, and managing several key client accounts. Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her family, supporting rescue organizations, and enjoying a delicious sweet bite or two!

Jerry Montgomery, Data Science Advisor
Jerry Montgomery has 39 years of management, business development, analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), data mining and information system development experience. He has led more than $96 million in successful AI analytic and information system projects for 150 organizations, including: General Electric, Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Assurant, Lockheed, IBM, NASA, U.S. Air Force and United Healthcare.
With respect to healthcare, he led analytics projects to include health outcomes and cost analyses for managed care organizations, patient pharmacy fraud and abuse identification, medical diagnostics, medical loss ratio prediction, multichannel member acquisition for a BCBS, data mining tool development for NIH, and healthcare propensity modeling.
